5. Two Circles Speed Questioning
Age Group: 10+
The class is divided into two groups. One group stands in a tight circle facing outwards, the second circle stands in a larger circle around the inner circle, facing inwards. Each child should now be facing another child.
When you say start, the children start questioning the person they are facing. After two minutes the outer circle moves clockwise one person and the process is repeated. This goes on until each child on the outside has spoken to each child on the inner circle.
After the inner circle group sit together on one side of the classroom and the outer circle group on the other side. They talk about each person they spoke to, giving a summary.
At the end each child stands up and gives a short summary of a child from the other circle, using all the information they have gathered from the group.
