A fun and engaging classroom game, ideal for teaching children comparatives.

Target language: older, slower, bigger, smaller, thinner, fatter, shorter, more beautiful, quieter, louder, faster, more intelligent, taller, more dangerous, uglier, heavier, more colourful, lighter, younger, longer, harder, softer, more difficult, easier, cheaper, more expensive

Instructions: in pairs or small groups the children take it in turns to roll the dice. After rolling dice the child moves their counter forward the number of spaces shown on the dice. When they land on an adjective they must use it as a comparative in a sentence.

You will need: one worksheet and one dice per pair or small group and one counter per child.
