Circle & Say is a simple and fun speaking activity that helps young learners practise talking about their daily routine in English.

Target language: get up, brush my teeth, read, sweep the floor, lay the table, speak other languages, watch TV, have a shower, sing, go swimming, go to the park, do the washing up, listen to music, do the ironing, go shopping, ride a bike, eat some food, water the plants, make my bed, do my homework, play tennis, play an instrument, tidy up, do the washing, go to sleep, jump, take out the rubbish, paint a picture.

Instructions: children circle the images of the things they do every day and share that information with a partner. This activity is great for practising simple sentences and can be adapted for higher levels with additional questions and language suggestions. It encourages children to practise daily routine vocabulary and improve their speaking skills in a fun, engaging way.
