Get your students talking this Valentine’s Day with these Talk for a Minute cards! This speaking activity is perfect for encouraging students to practise their speaking and fluency skills in a fun and interactive way. Each card has a Valentine’s Day themed prompt that will inspire children to share their thoughts, ideas and stories.

Target language: talking about things they love, friends, kindness, hobbies, love stories and more.

Instructions: children cut out the cards and take it in turns to choose a card and talk for a minute. If they are successful they get a point.

You will need: scissors and a timer.
