A fun and creative classroom game, ideal for teaching children Easter vocabulary.
Target language: Easter egg, bunny, chick, daffodil, basket, chocolate, lamb, egg hunt
Instructions: start with ‘Game 1’. Each child colours the pictures red, yellow, blue or green. The teacher then calls out at random a series of Easter words and colours, keeping note as the game goes on. For example: ‘Red Easter Egg’ … ‘Green Bunny’ … ‘Yellow Basket’
When the children hear a combination which they have on their worksheet, they cross it out. The first child to cross out all of their pictures, calls out Bingo! and is the winner of the game. Repeat for Game 2 and Game 3.
You will need: one worksheet per child.
