A fun and creative classroom game, ideal for teaching children Easter vocabulary.
Target language: Easter egg, bunny, chick, daffodil, basket, chocolate, lamb, egg hunt, the date
Instructions: the pair prepare the game by cutting out the tiles from the bottom of the page and deciding who is going to use the ‘O’s and who is going to use the ‘X’s. To play the game the children take it in turns to place one of their tiles on the grid, saying the word as they put it down. The aim of the game is to get three tiles in a row, this could be horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
You will need: one worksheet per pair and scissors.
