Printable worksheet
A fun and engaging classroom game, ideal for children learning English.
Target language: mother, father, brother, sister, cousin, aunt, uncle, grandfather, grandmother, possessive ‘s’
Instructions: start with ‘Game 1’. Each child writes a family member next to the picture in the bingo grid. The teacher then calls out at random a series of family members and first names, keeping note as the game goes on.
For example: ‘Lisa is Sarah’s aunt’, ‘Kate is Sarah’s grandmother’, Jane is Sarah’s sister’
When the children hear a combination which they have on their worksheet, they cross it out. The first child to cross out all of their pictures, calls out Bingo! and is the winner of the game. Repeat for Game 2 and Game 3.
You will need: one worksheet per child.
