A fun and engaging classroom game, ideal for children learning English.
Target language: face, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, hair
Instructions: children start by drawing a face shape in the centre of the board. In pairs or small groups the children take it in turns to roll the dice and move their counters forward the number of spaces shown on the dice. Children must make sure to say each word as they land on it and then draw that part of the face in the centre. After a set time limit children can compare their monster faces and describe them.
For example: ‘My monster has got five eyes, four ears and six noses etc…
You will need: one worksheet per child and one dice per pair or small group.
