Printable worksheet

A fun and engaging classroom game, ideal for children learning English.

Target language: pizza, salad, soup, fish, ice cream, rice, red, yellow, blue, green

Instructions: start with ‘Game 1’. Each child colours the pictures red, yellow, blue or green. The teacher then calls out at random a series of food words and colours, keeping note as the game goes on.

For example: ‘Red Ice Cream’ … ‘Green Pizza’ … ‘Yellow Salad’

When the children hear a combination which they have on their worksheet, they cross it out. The first child to cross out all of their pictures, calls out Bingo! and is the winner of the game. Repeat for Game 2 and Game 3.
