A fun and engaging classroom game, ideal for children learning English.

Target language: a cold, a cough, a headache, a toothache, a backache, a stomachache, a temperature, a broken arm, a sore throat, present simple, questions

Instructions: to prepare the game, children cut out and mark their counters. To play, in pairs children take it in turns to put down a counter and say a sentence about the picture in the circle which they have chosen. They must start from the bottom of the grid and work up. The winner is the child who gets four counters in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

You will need: one worksheet per child.
