This Mother’s Day card craft is a simple and meaningful way for children to celebrate their mums while practising basic writing and speaking skills. By folding the worksheet horizontally and vertically, children create a small booklet with a front cover and inside pages to personalise.

On one page, children draw a picture of themselves with their mum, while the other page includes short writing prompts such as “My mum’s name is…”, “She is… years old”, “She likes…”, “She is good at…”, and “I like… with her.” These prompts provide a clear structure to help learners express simple ideas in English.
