Benefits of Playing This Game
  1. Language Development & Vocabulary Practice
Guess Who helps children expand their vocabulary related to physical descriptions and improve their questioning skills in English. As they ask questions like “Has she got…?” they practice forming sentences, use adjectives and expand their vocabulary with terms such as “long hair” or “freckles.”
  2. Critical Thinking & Strategy
While playing, students develop critical thinking skills by using logic to deduce who the other person has chosen. They also learn to listen actively and keep track of answers to make informed guesses.
  3. Social Interaction & Communication
Guess Who encourages conversation and social interaction between students. It helps them practice speaking and listening in a relaxed, fun environment, fostering confidence and fluency in English.
  4. Easy to Adapt for Different Levels
This game is highly adaptable. For younger learners, you can start with basic descriptions like “long hair” or “glasses.” As students progress, you can introduce more advanced vocabulary like “curly”, “straight”, “hair clip” etc. You can also try our other variations of the game. We have Guess Who games with animals, common objects, jobs and aliens.
  5. Engaging and Fun
Children love the interactive and competitive nature of the game. It’s a great way to keep them engaged while reinforcing language skills in a fun way.
