A fun and engaging classroom game, ideal for children learning English.

Target language: o’clock, quarter past, half past, quarter to, days of the week

Instructions: start with ‘Game 1’. Each child writes a day of the week under the times on the Bingo sheet. The teacher then calls out at random a series of times and days, keeping note as the game goes on.

For example: ‘Half past twelve on Monday’ … ‘Six o’clock on Friday’ … ‘Quarter past ten on Tuesday’

When the children hear a combination which they have on their worksheet, they cross it out. The first child to cross out all of their times, calls out Bingo! and is the winner of the game. Repeat for Game 2 and Game 3.
